He has been involved in a variety of architectural projects including airport terminals, streetcar projects, K-12 schools, and military master planning, to name a few.  Originally from Texas, he and his family have called Washougal home for seven years. His wife, Alice, has taught elementary school in Washougal since moving here, and his daughter, Aria, is currently a sophomore at Washougal High School. His hobbies include hiking, gardening, landscape design, bonsai, saltwater aquariums, and following politics.  He hopes The Gathering Place at Washuxwal will be an inspiring place for the community to gather and  tell stories of the past, as well as, educate visitors about the impact that indigenous people have had on the area’s history.
