About the collections
Oral Histories
This collection contains interviews with local people about their lives in the Camas-Washougal area. It was facilitated in partnership WSU Vancouver Library. The aim of the project is to preserve the historical recordings of participating repositories while widening digital access for potential research into collections featuring stories told by Clark County residents.
The digitization of these recordings was made possible through the generous funding of Clark County's Historical Promotions Grant.
Photo Archive
The Two Rivers Heritage Museum Photographs Collection is a collaborative project between the Clark County Historical Museum (CCHM), the Washington State University Vancouver Library and Two Rivers Heritage Museum.
The Two Rivers Heritage Museum Photographs Collection includes over 1,000 photographic images from the main photograph collection at the Two Rivers Heritage Museum. The collection contains images from the areas of Camas, Washington and Washougal, Washington highlighting education, business and industry during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The collection features school buildings, student class photos, agriculture, stores and shops, social life, scenic views and more.
Funding for this project was provided by Clark County’s Historical Promotion Grants Program.
